The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting bids for fire life safety system testing, preventive maintenance, repairs, and technical support at the Attorney General Building and Discovery Tree School in Sacramento. The scope includes quarterly water-flow and tamper-switch testing; semiannual fire sprinkler inspections; annual fire alarm, fire pump, hood and duct system services; a one-time five-year sprinkler system test; foreseeable and unforeseeable repairs; emergency repair response; replacement parts; and up to 40 hours of annual technical support for the Attorney General Building. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials; hold a valid California Class C-16 Fire Protection license; maintain required insurance; comply with applicable fire-safety codes and prevailing-wage requirements; and respond to routine repair requests within one business day and emergency repair requests within two hours. The anticipated contract term is 36 months, with an anticipated start date of June 2027.
