Catawba County is seeking a qualified contractor to complete stormwater pond modifications in Magnolia Cove Subdivision. The scope includes modifying the existing concrete riser outfall structure, installing a gate valve and weephole, constructing a concrete emergency spillway, adding concrete outlet structures, installing Type B riprap aprons with filter fabric, constructing a forebay berm and riprap weir, excavating and grading, and stabilizing the vegetated shelf and pond banks with Bermuda grass sod. The procurement is a lump-sum bid requiring all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services. The bid form requires the contractor to provide a total contract price and anticipated calendar days for completion. If the total bid exceeds $300,000, the successful bidder must furnish payment and performance bonds at 100% of the contract amount. Required insurance includes general liability, workers’ compensation, and automobile coverage, with Catawba County named as an additional insured for automobile and general liability policies.
