Description
Catawba County is soliciting bids to complete road improvements in the Magnolia Cove Subdivision in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. The work includes applying a 1.5-inch asphalt overlay using Design Mix S9.5C to Star Drive, Loebner Court, Stellata Loop, Kobus Court, Anise Circle, and associated cul-de-sacs. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment; maintain access to homes and active construction sites; implement traffic control and signage; and collect and test asphalt cores in accordance with North Carolina Department of Transportation specifications. The project also includes installing approximately 200 linear feet of five-foot-wide sidewalk at the Anise Circle cul-de-sac. Work must comply with current NCDOT standards and be completed within 45 days after commencement. The successful bidder must provide required insurance documentation before contract execution and may be required to furnish payment and performance bonds depending on the total bid and project cost.
