Description
Catawba Valley Community College is soliciting bids for one new, fully operational Type III ambulance for exclusive educational and training use in its Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Medical Science programs. The ambulance must meet applicable federal standards, North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services requirements, and current industry manufacturing guidelines, with specifications covering the chassis, 148-inch module, compartments, interior systems, electrical and communications equipment, warning systems, certifications, and warranties. The bid also includes one Stryker Stair-Pro Model 6252 or equivalent, one Stryker PowerLOAD or equivalent, and one Stryker PowerPRO 2 stretcher in high configuration or equivalent. The vendor must provide delivery, descriptive literature and certifications, manufacturer authorization, a manufacturer warranty, at least three references for the exact equipment model offered, and the required completed pricing, customer reference, worker-location, financial-condition, and applicable price-matching forms. Electronic responses are required through the electronic Vendor Portal.
