Description

Centralina Regional Council is seeking a qualified North Carolina-licensed general contractor to rehabilitate up to 15 low- to moderate-income, owner-occupied single-family homes in Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville. Potential work includes health and safety repairs, aging-in-place and accessibility improvements, energy-efficiency and weatherization measures, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, structural, interior, and exterior repairs, and lead-safe work for homes constructed before 1978. The contractor will coordinate site assessments, scopes, estimates, permits, inspections, subcontractors, homeowners, quality control, change orders, invoicing, documentation, warranties, and closeout. The work is federally funded and requires compliance with applicable HUD, EPA, Section 3, federal grant, recordkeeping, and related requirements. The selected contractor will enter into a master contract, with individual properties authorized through approved scopes and written work orders or Notices to Proceed; all construction, warranty documentation, and closeout activities must be completed by June 30, 2028.
