Description
The Braintree Electric Light Department is seeking a contractor to pave one parking lot area of approximately 1,666 square yards, measuring about 125 by 120 feet. All paving must conform to Massachusetts Department of Transportation Section 403 requirements and the specifications identified in the bid documents. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder, considering bidder qualifications, evidence of past performance on similar projects, and bid price. A bid security of at least 5% of the bid price is required, either as a certified or cashier's check or as a bid bond. A payment bond equal to 50% of the total bid amount will also be required, with a surety qualified to do business in Massachusetts. Prevailing wage requirements apply.
