Description
Eastern Kentucky University seeks one or more contractors to provide electrician services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes all labor, materials, tools, trucks, equipment, and services necessary for the work. Bidders must provide hourly rates for weekday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday labor; rates must include tools, trucks, and mileage. Materials and equipment rentals are reimbursed separately under the specified fixed-fee-adder pricing structure. There is no guaranteed number of work hours, and individual projects may be separately quoted or competitively bid based on their value. The resulting non-exclusive price contract is intended for smaller projects, with work authorized by the University and performed until completion or stopped by the University. Contractors must have equipment available within 30 miles of Richmond, Kentucky, and provide at least three references for similar services performed within the last five years. The solicitation evaluates labor rates, bidder office/equipment location, available personnel, and references. Required insurance includes workers’ compensation, general liability, excess liability, business automobile liability, public liability, and employer’s liability coverage; an ACORD certificate is required.
