Description
Hillsborough County's Water Resources Department is soliciting competitive sealed bids for an undefined-quantity, as-needed term contract covering low-pressure sewer system installations and repairs. The scope includes furnishing and installing prefabricated reinforced-concrete interceptor tanks, submersible pump assemblies, electrical control panels, conduit, wiring, low-pressure service lines, tapping of existing wastewater force mains, traffic control, site restoration, and retrofitting or rehabilitation of existing LPSS facilities. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, vehicles, supplies, and permits, maintain an inventory of five LPSS tanks, and prepare work-order proposals and construction schedules as requested. The contract has an estimated award ceiling of $4,000,000 or the recommended total bid price, whichever is less, with a guaranteed minimum usage of $10,000. The County may award one or more contracts, and the initial term is two years with two additional two-year renewal options. A 5% Small Business Enterprise subcontracting goal applies. Bidders must submit the electronic bid-table and questionnaire responses, bid security, SBE participation materials, insurance evidence, required affidavits and certifications, a corporate resolution, and other required documents through the County's electronic bidding system. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid; successful bidders must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance after award.
