Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is soliciting bids for four prefabricated, free-standing, single-occupant privacy booths for incarcerated-person use at California State Prison, Corcoran. The booths must include acoustic wall, roof, and ceiling assemblies; steel doors and glazing; stool; casters, leveling feet, and seismic restraints; recessed LED lighting; exhaust ventilation; electrical power; CAT 6 telecommunications outlets; and a videoconference-device mounting bracket. The solicitation requires new equipment, approved-equal products, product information and cut sheets, complete material lists, fabrication, delivery, offloading, and installation. Bidders must submit the completed state bid forms and required certifications, product information, complete submittals, and two isometric or computer-generated 3D images with the bid. The steel structure requires a minimum 10-year manufacturer's warranty, and all other components require a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty. The bid is all-or-none, must be FOB destination, and materials must be delivered and installed upon written request within the stated delivery window. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for prospective bidders, and the State will accept approved equals to the referenced products. Addendum 1 confirms that the October 9, 2026, mandatory pre-bid conference will be held via Microsoft Teams. Addendum 2 states that the Corcoran solicitation is separate from two other privacy-booth solicitations, although the same conference covers all three.
