Description
The University of Oregon is soliciting proposals for new custom and standard manufactured furniture and furnishings for the Friendly Hall project. The scope includes classroom, office, meeting, lounge, and common-area furniture, including chairs, sofas, tables, desks, storage, task lighting, monitor stands, whiteboards, bookcases, and desk or panel systems. Exhibit A provides detailed specifications, quantities, room layouts, finish requirements, and furniture plans; approved equals may be considered. The contractor must provide complete furniture components, layouts for owner approval, delivery, placement, and installation. Proposal pricing must include delivery and installation, and the contractor must provide model information, quantities, pricing, lead times, warranties, resources, experience, references, key personnel, management procedures, sustainability practices, and an enlarged furniture plan with piece callouts. Custom finish samples and shop drawings are required for approval before fabrication and production. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the University purchasing portal by the stated deadline.
