Description
Olmsted County, on behalf of its Health, Housing and Human Services Division, is seeking an agency or collaboration of agencies to develop, coordinate, and facilitate a Children's Mental Health Local Advisory Council. The council must arrange input from local system-of-care providers, identify specified individuals and organizations for the county board, report unmet children's mental health needs for inclusion in the county's biennial plan, and include required representatives such as individuals with lived experience, a parent, a children's mental health professional, minority-population representatives, a local coordinating council representative, and a family community support services representative. Proposals must include an initial development plan, an ongoing coordination and facilitation plan covering at least two years, a timeline, and a budget separating initial development from ongoing services. The budget must include $50 per person per meeting for individuals with lived experience and may not exceed $20,000 annually. Proposals are evaluated on compliance with Children's LAC requirements, incorporation of Minnesota Department of Human Services LAC Guidebook best practices, timeline, and budget. In-person meetings are preferred, with hybrid meetings permitted in limited situations.
