Description
The Dakota County Community Development Agency is soliciting bids for painting services at select CDA properties under a three-year contract beginning November 1, 2026. The work includes vacant-unit turn painting, surface preparation, minor drywall patching and repairs, priming, finish coats, cabinet and window-frame varnishing upon request, occupied-unit painting upon request, cleanup, hardware reinstallation, and limited exterior painting. Specified materials include Sherwin-Williams products or approved equivalents, with separate requirements for standard and Davis-Bacon-rate work. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, and transportation; coordinate with other unit-turn contractors; and complete painting within 10 days of each work authorization. The expected workload is approximately 18–42 unit turns per month. Public housing work requires compliance with Davis-Bacon labor standards and weekly certified payroll submissions. Bidders must submit pricing for the listed service categories and complete the Bid Form, General Conditions, and Contractor's Qualification Statement.
