Description
Olmsted County is soliciting a contractor to replace the original controls for the Paralleling Main Switchboard at the Government Center. The replacement controls must remain functionally similar to the existing control scheme and integrate with a human-machine interface and existing generator controls. The work includes demolition and installation of switchgear components, a temporary 1,000 kVA generator to power the facility during the outage, field testing, owner training, and coordination of utility and facility shutdowns. The contractor must provide the engineering, personnel, permits, equipment, and administration needed to complete the work, including new control and monitoring equipment, a control touchscreen, generator and utility breaker relays, and advanced metering. The contractor must also provide as-built drawings and equipment manuals at project closeout. Completion is expected by April 1, 2027.
