Description
The New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department, Family Services Division, Prevention Initiatives Bureau, is soliciting applications from organizations to operate Family Resource Centers statewide. Providers must identify the New Mexico counties they will serve and establish accessible, welcoming facilities with evening, weekend, and nontraditional hours, community co-location space, and a Community Closet. Required services include trauma-informed case management and family navigation; parenting, nutrition, and budgeting education; assistance with housing, utilities, Medicaid, benefits, driver's licenses, early-intervention services, and other community resources; crisis response and transportation as necessary; closed-loop referrals; and coordination with state and community partners. Providers must use designated state systems, maintain required documentation and performance reports, complete background checks and training, and comply with CYFD policies, confidentiality requirements, and subcontracting restrictions. Applications must include the prescribed coversheet, a narrative response, one-year budget, organizational and financial documentation, a New Mexico tax identification certificate, proof of insurance, an organizational chart, and the required supervisor resume. The narrative is limited to 12 pages, with specified formatting requirements.
