Description
The City of Rochester's Transit & Parking Department is seeking a contractor to solicit and secure advertisers for designated exterior and interior bus space and five bus shelters; assist with advertising design and production; install, maintain, and remove advertising materials; and manage advertiser billing, collections, and monthly revenue payments. Available formats include full and partial bus wraps, streetside, curbside, tail, interior bus cards, and shelter advertising. The contractor must maximize use of available space, comply with the City's advertising policy, fulfill existing advertising commitments, maintain installation and removal records, and perform work at the City's garage during specified non-peak access hours. Proposers must submit a cover letter, written responses addressing organizational qualifications, references, personnel, service approach, marketing and transition plans, project management, installation and removal procedures, and related experience, along with the FTA Certification Forms, Exceptions and Assumptions Form, and Revenue Proposal Form. The contractor must propose annual guaranteed minimum payments and percentages of gross advertising sales, pay the City monthly, and comply with applicable federal transit requirements. The draft contract provides for a five-year term beginning January 1, 2027, with one additional five-year option period.
