Description
The Dakota County Community Development Agency is soliciting bids for a three-year line-cleaning services contract covering 31 apartment-style properties. The work includes annual jet cleaning of water lines, preventative cleaning of community-kitchen drains, annual catch-basin cleaning with at least 50 feet of catch-line jet cleaning, and cleaning of main lines to the city line using at least a 1/2-inch remote hose. Haskell Court requires service twice annually; all other sites are serviced annually. The agency also requests hourly pricing for as-needed service at single-family homes, townhomes, duplexes, and fourplexes during and outside normal business hours. The contractor must provide an annual service schedule at least one month before the first site visit, comply with site identification and labor-standard requirements where Davis-Bacon prevailing wages apply, and demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience for both the contractor and project superintendent. At least three similar projects and three current multifamily customer references must be provided upon request. A sealed bid on the provided Bid Form is required, along with the completed General form and Contractor's Qualification Statement. Bid and performance bonds are required when project pricing exceeds $100,000.
