Description
Tennessee Tech University seeks a qualified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to serve students and clients of its Center for Counseling and Mental Health Services. Required services include psychiatric diagnostic evaluations; assessment and individualized treatment planning; onsite clinical care on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; medication prescribing and monitoring; psychiatric urgent care; diagnostic testing referrals; collaboration with student health and counseling personnel; and consultation with a supervising psychiatrist or physician. The contractor must provide 24/7 on-call availability for urgent needs through the designated crisis hotline, respond to messages and prescription refill requests, participate in continuity-of-care meetings, complete same-day clinical documentation and invoicing, and provide training for university personnel. The PMHNP must provide proof of registered nurse licensure, a current DEA number, and malpractice insurance. The five-year contract is expected to begin upon final signature, with clinical services scheduled to start November 6, 2026. Responses must include completed answers to the service requirements and the provided Cost Proposal Sheet; award will be based on the lowest total five-year cost meeting all requirements.
