Description
Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the lump-sum replacement of the chillers at Avila Elementary School. The work includes all labor, supervision, machinery, tools, equipment, materials, demolition, installation, testing, coordination, site protection, prevailing-wage compliance, and incidental work needed for a complete and operational installation. Proposals must include base, unit-price, alternate, and supplemental equipment or material information as applicable, and the contractor must coordinate with other contractors working on the premises. Offerors must submit qualifications and experience information, five similar projects with references, past-performance information, proposed project-manager and superintendent resumes, project-team structure, a subcontractor list, required district forms, insurance documentation, and a bid bond equal to 5% of the largest possible proposal including alternates. The selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds within 10 days after acceptance. The proposal must be submitted on the unaltered engineer-furnished forms, with original typed sheets signed in longhand, and the work includes delivery of closeout materials such as maintenance manuals and as-built drawings.
