Description
The City of McAllen is soliciting proposals for the design, construction, delivery, and operational readiness testing of a comprehensive upgrade to McAllen International Airport’s video surveillance and access control systems. The work includes improving the existing access control and video management systems and locating, removing, and properly disposing of outdated or nonfunctional closed-circuit television and access control equipment throughout the airport. The project may involve the terminal and concourse buildings, federal inspection station, parking lots, cargo and general aviation facilities, control tower, runways and taxiways, administrative buildings, perimeter fencing, and access gates. Respondents must submit pricing and cost information, address the stated technical and management evaluation criteria, and comply with applicable airport, FAA, federal grant, security, domestic-preference, labor, and nondiscrimination requirements. A completed NDA is required before access to security-sensitive information and the mandatory pre-submittal conference; the conference attendance requirement applies to proposal responsiveness.
