This firm-fixed-price construction opportunity covers repair by replacement and improvements to an existing livestock-handling facility. The base bid includes demolition of existing roofing, canopy, fencing, gates, CMU construction, sump-pit components, water piping, and electrical systems; construction of a metal-building roof expansion with rigid frames, purlins, exposed-fastener roof panels, reflective insulation, flashings, trim, and bracing; new cattle-corral railings, gates, blackout panels, bollards, and concrete walking surfaces; modifications to the existing dip vat; and new water service, watering-trough connections, receptacles, panelboard, lighting, controls, grounding, and related site, structural, civil, plumbing, and electrical work. Additive alternates cover additional cattle-corral pens 9, 10, and 11 and galvanization of fencing, gates, bollards, and associated steel. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, fabrication, demolition, installation, testing, safety controls, quality control, and closeout documentation. The proposal must include a completed and signed SF 1442, a price proposal, and a technical proposal addressing work approach, subcontracting, sequencing, resources, safety, key personnel, a performance schedule, and three similar projects completed within the last three years. The work is subject to a mandatory 180-calendar-day completion period after notice to proceed, with a one-year construction warranty and additional roof-system warranty requirements specified in the documents.
