Description
The Bureau of Land Management requires comprehensive snow plowing and removal services at the Campbell Tract Facility. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and tools; automatically clear paved roads, parking areas, accessible parking spaces, entrances, steps, landings, sidewalks, garage doors, access points, fuel-station areas, fire hydrants, dumpsters, gate controllers, bollards, and catch basins; maintain safe access during winter weather; place warning signs; remove debris; protect landscaping and adjacent property; and report and repair damage caused by operations. Snow may be stockpiled only in designated areas, with off-site hauling and disposal priced separately by cubic yard when local storage reaches capacity. The amended solicitation removes standalone sidewalk billing because sidewalks are included in the base effort. The contractor must demonstrate equipment and staffing capacity, satisfactory similar past performance, and compliance with geographic snow-piling restrictions. The Government anticipates a single firm-fixed-price contract with a seven-month base period and four consecutive one-year option periods.
