Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive quotes for supplemental grounds maintenance at five parks and recreation locations: Lucky Shoals Park, Lilburn Activity Building, Sweet Water Park, Graves Park, and Bethesda Park. The scope includes recurring mowing, edging, trimming, blowing of hardscapes, litter and debris removal, planting-bed and tree-well maintenance, shrub and ground-cover pruning, weed control, and related landscape upkeep across approximately 51 acres of listed maintenance areas. The contractor must provide at least three active crews with at least three members per crew, appropriate labor, tools, equipment, supervisory support, safety measures, and a proposed service schedule. Services are weekly from March through October and every other week from November through February. Subcontracting is prohibited. The quote package requires pricing, qualifications, equipment information, at least three similar references, pesticide-license and landscape-certification documentation, and a completed Contractor Affidavit and Agreement. The successful contractor must meet specified insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, and applicable umbrella or excess coverage.
