Description
The University of Alaska is conducting a Request for Information to identify firms capable of supporting the development, accreditation, and implementation of Graduate Medical Education programs under an Academic Medical Center model at the University of Alaska Anchorage College of Health. The contemplated engagement includes Alaska-specific strategic guidance, tangible work products, hands-on implementation support, establishment or approval of an ACGME Sponsoring Institution, submission and approval of multiple residency or fellowship programs, clinical-partner agreements, recruitment of GME leadership and faculty, enrollment of the first residents or fellows, and development of a financially sustainable operating model. Respondents must provide a detailed narrative addressing the seven requested topics: company experience and delivery model; support for project objectives; pricing, estimated effort, staffing, and cost range; alignment with university priorities; operational philosophy and service levels; recommendations, risks, and success factors; and additional information. The anticipated consulting project is expected to span approximately five to six years, with the greatest effort during planning, design, and early implementation, followed by progressive transfer of responsibilities to the university and clinical partners. This is an information-gathering exercise and does not itself procure consulting services.
