Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids for lawn mowing and snow removal services for approximately 60 to 80 Aging Partners client residences within the city. Mowing services run generally from April through October and include weekly mowing of front, back, and side yards, trimming around landscaping and fences, and provision of mowing equipment, fuel, lubricants, and operators. Snow services run generally from November through March, with possible service outside those months, and include removing snow from driveways, public and personal sidewalks, home entrances, and steps after snowfalls of two inches or more. Contractors must provide snow-removal equipment and operators; clients provide salt or chemical ice remover. The City prefers to award mowing and snow removal separately but may award both scopes to one contractor. The contract is for one year with three additional one-year renewal options. Bidders must have at least three years of commercial property-maintenance experience and submit three references for similar mowing contracts, including company names, contact persons, and phone numbers. Responses must be submitted electronically through the City's e-bid system, with pricing provided per residence for each service. The Foreign Adversary Contracting Prohibition Act certification form must be completed and uploaded with the response; other required electronic acknowledgments and references are also identified in the bid invitation.
