Description
The University of Alaska is conducting a Request for Information to identify consulting firms capable of supporting the development, accreditation, and implementation of Graduate Medical Education programs under an Academic Medical Center model at the University of Alaska Anchorage College of Health. The anticipated scope includes establishing or obtaining approval for an ACGME Sponsoring Institution, submitting and securing approval for multiple residency and fellowship programs, developing clinical-partner agreements, recruiting GME leadership and faculty, enrolling the first residents or fellows, and creating a financially sustainable operating model. The respondent should describe relevant experience, institutional clients, delivery model, staffing continuity, project approach, Alaska-specific strategies, support for university priorities and community engagement, operational philosophy, service levels, risks, recommendations, fee structure, estimated staffing and effort by phase, rough-order-of-magnitude cost range, and pricing assumptions. The consulting project is expected to span approximately five to six years, with responsibilities transferring progressively to the university and clinical partners as programs become operational. This is an information-gathering exercise and not currently a solicitation for services; responses may inform a future competitive procurement.
