Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids for the supply and hauling of Type B rock riprap for Lancaster County. The estimated quantity is 642 tons, delivered to four designated stockpiles: Roca Quarry, Raymond, Southwest 100th Street and West Saltillo, and Waverly. The material must meet the Nebraska Department of Roads 2017 Standard Specifications, Section 905. The vendor must provide compliant material, daily gradation test results, weigh tickets for each load, legally compliant hauling equipment, and 48 hours' notice before pickup or delivery. Hauling to Raymond must use state highways only, belly-dump trucks are prohibited, and testing must be completed at no cost to the County. Responses are submitted electronically through the Owner's Ebid system.
