Description
The City of Lincoln, Nebraska, is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction contract to remodel approximately 20,873 square feet of the Planning and Development Services Office. The work includes selective demolition; new and modified walls, doors, ceilings, flooring, painting, cabinetry, countertops, blinds, plumbing fixtures, HVAC devices, lighting, power, access control, sound masking, structured cabling, and fire-alarm system modifications. The contractor must furnish labor, supervision, materials, supplies, permits, licenses, coordination, testing, documentation, and closeout services. The project requires a lump-sum bid submitted electronically, a 5% bid bond, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount upon award. Substantial completion is required by February 1, 2027, and final completion by March 26, 2027. The solicitation requires at least three current similar-project references, applicable certifications and affidavits, and compliance with the specified insurance requirements and construction documents.
