Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids for Airport Entry Corridor Hardscape Improvements Project No. 79156. The work includes excavation; pavement and sidewalk removal; concrete median surfacing in four- and five-inch thicknesses; five-inch concrete driveways; curb and gutter work; installation of clay brick pavers on reinforced concrete bases; construction staking; traffic control; stormwater permit authorization and erosion-control measures; adjustment of water valve boxes and manholes; and related restoration and coordination. The project covers the airport-entry corridor along West Adams Street and West Cornhusker Highway, with a base bid from the airport entry to I-180 and an alternate from I-180 to North 11th Street. The contractor must maintain vehicle, pedestrian, business, and emergency access; coordinate with utilities and concurrent public projects; submit a baseline project schedule, traffic-control plan, and phasing plan; and complete the work by June 15, 2027. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, are required with the signed contract upon award.
