This Sources Sought notice is market research for a planned multiple-contractor IDIQ for small repair and alteration projects at federal buildings. Contractors would act as general contractors for interior and exterior work, potentially including design-build, demolition, abatement, carpentry, drywall, insulation, doors, finishes, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire and life-safety equipment, security equipment, fencing, windows, and outdoor lighting. Some task orders may involve leased facilities, and value-added coordination or liaison services may also be required. This is not a solicitation or request for proposals. The agency is seeking information about contractor capabilities and socioeconomic status before deciding on a formal procurement. Stand-alone architect-engineer and construction-management services for separate projects are excluded.
