Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is planning a firm-fixed-price construction contract for the C 219 Detroit Lead Service Line Removal project. The work includes mobilizing to locations in Detroit's public right-of-way, excavating corporation stops, cutting the lead service line, removing approximately one foot of lead service line from the corporation stop, leaving the remaining abandoned line in place, backfilling, restoring the excavations, and demobilizing. Contract drawings will identify the work locations across various neighborhoods. The anticipated procurement is a Request for Quote on a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside basis, with award intended for the lowest-priced quote determined responsive and responsible.
