Description
The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor for as-needed fence repair along state trunkline rights-of-way throughout Oakland County. Work includes removing and disposing of damaged fencing; replacing 48-inch chain-link fabric, line posts, corner posts, and high-tensile wire rope; and reattaching existing chain-link fabric. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, traffic control, and incidental services. Service requests will be issued by the MDOT Project Manager, and each repair must be completed within 14 calendar days of the request. Work is generally performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. The project is subject to Michigan prevailing-wage requirements, certified payroll reporting through LCPTracker, applicable safety and traffic-control standards, and a total purchase-order contract limit of $49,999. Pricing is requested per foot or per post for six specified pay items.
