Description
Kern High School District is soliciting a complete sanitary sewer plumbing package for the Vista Continuation High School modernization project. The scope includes grease, waste, and vent piping, final connection to the line five feet outside the building, and connections to fixtures, equipment, and appliances. Prime contractors and applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors must be prequalified under California Public Contract Code section 20111.6. Prospective bidders must submit the Owner-provided prequalification questionnaire and financial statement no later than ten business days before bid opening and must be announced as prequalified no later than five business days before bid opening. The project is a paper bid with an estimated value of $1,466,318 and a 490-calendar-day duration; the solicitation requires a 10 percent bid bond, 100 percent payment bond, and 100 percent performance bond.
