Description
The City of Omaha is seeking a qualified contractor to perform laboratory testing of wastewater, stormwater, surface water, biosolids, soil, and compost samples. Required analyses include metals, nutrients, microbiological parameters, organic compounds, solids, pH, biochemical oxygen demand, cyanide, petroleum hydrocarbons, and related testing, along with sample digestion, filtration, and pickup services. The bid is all-or-none across the listed bid lines. Responses must be submitted electronically through the IonWave system by September 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM Central Time. Required response materials include a copy of the bid bond or acceptable substitute, a notarized Employee Classification Act Affidavit, completed and digitally signed Responsible Contractor Compliance and SEB Participation Disclosure forms, and a Certificate of Insurance. The bid bond is 5% of the total bid when the total bid is $50,000 or more; the original bid security must also be delivered to the City Clerk within seven calendar days after closing. A performance bond is required upon award.
