Description
This solicitation is for the lease of one 750kW (minimum) emergency diesel generator (EDG) to serve as part of an emergency power supply system for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) in Bremerton, WA. The period of performance for this lease is from July 17, 2026, to August 21, 2026. The generator must meet stringent technical specifications, including voltage adjustment capabilities, lockout means, reverse power trip protection, and specific circuit breaker and output busbar requirements. It must also be housed in a NEMA 3R ISO enclosure with double-wall construction and be capable of 16 hours of full-load runtime on its integrated fuel tank. Maintenance, including filter and hose replacement, oil changes, and a load test, must be performed prior to delivery. Deliverables include fuel analysis, maintenance certification, an operation and maintenance manual, EPA certification, on-site training, and a sign with contractor contact information. The contractor must also provide 24/7 technical support for troubleshooting and repairs, with a guaranteed repair or replacement time of 48 hours. Security and access requirements for personnel entering the facility are also detailed, including the need for appropriate identification and background checks.
