Description
St. Martin Parish Government is soliciting sealed bids for the lease of one (1) new current production model (2026-year model or newer) compact/mini hydraulic crawler excavator. The excavator must have a minimum weight of 16,707 lb and a maximum weight of 18,659 lb, be capable of handling a pin-on 48-inch cleanout bucket, and be equipped with a minimum 69 net horsepower Tier 4 Final Diesel engine. The base machine must be in continuous production with readily available specifications. Bidders must be qualified by the State of Louisiana for the lease and sale of specified equipment. Delivery is required within seven (07) calendar days after notice of formal acceptance of the bid and council approval. A bid bond of not less than 5 percent of the bid amount plus all additive alternates is required, written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana and payable to St. Martin Parish Government. Bids can be submitted by mail, hand delivery, or electronically via www.centralauctionhouse.com.
