Description
The U.S. Geological Survey’s National Water Quality Laboratory is seeking a single-award, firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement for recurring supplies of pre-filled acid solutions in 4.5 mL polypropylene copolymer screw-cap vials. The required products are 2.0 mL of 7.5–7.7N Ultrex-grade nitric acid, 1 mL of 4.5N trace-metal-grade sulfuric acid, and 2 mL of 6N Omni Trace hydrochloric acid, with specified measurement tolerances, labeling, contamination limits, and vial pressure-resistance requirements. Brand-name-or-equal products may be proposed with supporting technical documentation. The BPA has a maximum ordering limit of $350,000 over a two-year ordering period. Products must be supplied in original, unopened manufacturer packaging, packaged and shipped in accordance with Department of Transportation hazardous-material requirements, and accompanied by Safety Data Sheets. Quotations must include pricing for both years, a technical summary limited to two pages, product specifications or label photographs, two recent Certificates of Analysis for each acid product, polyvial technical documentation, a signed SF 18, required representations, and any amendment acknowledgments. Final acceptance is subject to laboratory quality-assurance testing.
