Description
The City of Bismarck is seeking cost proposals from qualified vendors for dewatering polymer used with the City's solid waste processing equipment at its Wastewater Treatment Facility. Proposed polymer must meet or exceed the performance of Solenis K274FLX and demonstrate equal or greater economy based on total polymer cost per dry ton of biosolids produced. Vendors must comply with the stated trial, testing, and specification requirements, including successful full-scale testing before submitting a cost proposal. The submission must include bid sheets showing the all-inclusive delivered unit price per pound, including shipping, delivery charges, and fuel surcharges; Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets; documentation from the facility confirming approval and satisfactory performance under the trial procedures; evidence of the ability to meet delivery requirements; and information regarding training and support. Award will consider price, polymer consumption, solids capture rate, cake solids, and filtrate solids. The accepted bid will be nonexclusive, no specific purchase quantity is guaranteed, and no additional charges or surcharges will be allowed during the agreement. The successful vendor must provide operator training and operational evaluation support with the initial delivery at no additional charge.
