Description
The City of Dillingham is soliciting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of approximately 4,500 cubic yards of pit-run gravel, 210 cubic yards of safety winter road sand, and 1,400 cubic yards of Dirty Gravel 1. Deliveries will be made to the landfill and city shop, and bidders may submit prices for one or more material options. The City may purchase up to 25% more material at the awarded unit prices. Materials must meet specified grading and quality requirements, and the contractor must provide a representative sample for testing; nonconforming material may be rejected. At least 50% of the landfill pit-run gravel, all city shop pit-run gravel and safety winter road sand, and at least 25% of the city shop Dirty Gravel 1 must be delivered by November 15, 2026. Remaining quantities are due by June 20, 2027, subject to possible weather-related renegotiation with written approval. Bidders must submit a signed Attachment A. Aggregate Bid by the deadline. Business licenses, insurance certificates, and workers' compensation documentation are required before notice of award, not with the bid.
