Description
Athens County is soliciting sealed unit-price bids for the ATH-2026 OEMA Landslide Repairs project. The work includes a drilled pier wall with lagging at CR31-2.87, a plug pile wall at CR36-5.19, pavement repair, excavation, aggregate base, asphalt courses, guardrail, conduit, erosion control, seeding and mulching, drainage piping, traffic maintenance, surveying, mobilization, and related construction activities. The engineer's estimate is $358,000. The project must be completed no later than May 31, 2027; the walls must be constructed and the roads reopened with a stone surface no later than December 18, 2026. Bidders must submit project experience, subcontractor information, required affidavits, OPWC equal-employment-opportunity materials, bid security, insurance certificates, and workers' compensation documentation. Ohio prevailing-wage requirements, domestic-steel requirements, applicable ODOT construction specifications, and performance and payment bonding requirements apply.
