The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management, is soliciting bids for the Cone AML Reclamation Project in Athens County, Ohio. The project involves two main areas: the Powerhouse Complex and the Dam and Impoundment. At the Powerhouse Complex, the contractor will demolish brick and steel structures, salvage specific items including clay bricks, chimney sections, and concrete legs, and regrade the area with topsoil, seeding, and mulching. The work also includes replacing a culvert and removing concrete debris from Pilcher Run. At the Dam and Impoundment, the contractor will stabilize the existing concrete dam with compacted fill, rebuild the training walls and primary spillway, and construct an auxiliary spillway. The project also includes relocating a collapsed smokestack to the Canaanville Arts Center. The engineer's estimate for the project is $608,860.00.
