Description
Athens County is soliciting sealed bids for the ATH-2026 OEMA Landslide Repairs project. The work includes construction of a drilled pier wall with lagging at CR31-2.87 on Oakdale Road, a plug pile wall at CR36-5.19 on Hooper Ridge Road, pavement repair, and other miscellaneous construction items under a unit-price contract. The project includes drilled shafts, steel soldier piles, plug piles, precast concrete panels, aggregate and asphalt work, erosion control, traffic maintenance, surveying, and mobilization. The engineer's estimate is $358,000.00. The walls must be constructed and the roads opened with a stone surface by December 18, 2026, and the entire project must be completed no later than May 31, 2027. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity, complete the required bid documents and affidavits, provide a 10% bid guaranty or an eligible bond, and submit a contractor's certificate of insurance and workers' compensation certificate. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage, equal-employment-opportunity, domestic-steel, environmental, and other applicable construction requirements.
