Description
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Office of Abandoned Mine Lands and Reclamation, is soliciting bids for the Harmonds Creek Portals Phase II Construction/Reclamation project. The scope includes mobilization, construction layout, quality control, site preparation, temporary access road construction, stabilization fabric, a temporary stream crossing, woven belted silt fencing, a stabilized construction entrance, and revegetation. Additional work includes riprap-lined channels and blankets, road crossings, piezometer abandonment, wet and dry mine seals, mine-seal conveyance pipe, mine-seal stone, and soda ash briquettes. The contractor must submit a five-percent bid bond with the bid, complete the required AML Contractor Information Form for eligibility review, and comply with applicable construction, environmental, bonding, insurance, licensing, labor, and reclamation requirements. A mandatory onsite pre-bid meeting is required, and bids must be submitted electronically through the state's vendor portal.
