Description
Ohio University is soliciting a general contractor to remove existing wood outfield and sideline fencing and install approximately 1,075 linear feet of new black chain-link fencing at Bob Wren Baseball Stadium. The base work includes new chain-link fence sections of varying heights, steel posts, concrete footings, rails, gates, doors, and related demolition and site restoration. The contractor must protect existing turf, utilities, stadium features, and adjacent property during construction. Alternate 01 requests pricing for 128 linear feet of 16-foot-high chain-link fence and posts at right field. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, Ohio domestic-steel requirements, and a 5 percent EDGE Business Development Program participation goal. The contractor must submit an electronic bid, bid guaranty, and required bidder information; the project has a stated 60-calendar-day substantial-completion period in the electronic Bid Form, while the Summary of Work states a 75-calendar-day project duration.
