Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting a contractor to perform approximately 20 linear feet of directional boring beneath an unnamed headwater stream just north of Dow Lake at Strouds Run State Park. The contractor must determine the boring depth in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations, install a protective sleeve sized for a 2 1/2-inch PVC water line, and install the owner-provided PVC line within the sleeve. The scope also includes obtaining all necessary permits, coordinating with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and other regulators, restoring the site to preconstruction condition, and accessing the work area via a short wooded path. The property owner will clear the site and access path. Attendance at a mandatory site visit/pre-bid meeting is required for all bidders, and award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total for all required bid items.
