Description
The project requires all labor, materials, and equipment to restore and stabilize the stream bank along Little Olive Green Creek beneath the Center Bend Road Bridge, Structure No. 5831644. Work includes channel clearing and shaping, unclassified excavation, earthfill, drainfill, installation of Ohio Department of Transportation Type C rock riprap and grouted rock riprap, mobilization and demobilization, removal and control of water, pollution control, traffic control, contractor quality control, and seeding and mulching of disturbed areas. The contractor must maintain Center Bend Road as an open two-way roadway, provide written traffic-control, dewatering, pollution-control, and construction plans as specified, furnish a portable toilet during the contract, and comply with the stated material, placement, testing, curing, and quality-control requirements. The specifications require a written construction schedule before work begins and identify several post-award submittals, including quality-control documentation and plans.
