Description
The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Division of Highways for a one-time purchase and delivery of approximately 80,791 pounds of epoxy-coated reinforcing steel for the Medina Interstate salt shed. The requested material includes #4, #5, and #8 rebar, cut and/or bent according to the provided rebar schedule. The drawings require reinforcing steel rated at 60 ksi or greater, with splice lengths of at least 30 times the bar diameter and compliance with the latest ACI 318 requirements for structural concrete. The solicitation identifies delivery to the Division of Highways District Three, I-77 Section Two, in Ravenswood, West Virginia, for use at the Medina project site.
