Description
The City of Lubbock, in coordination with Citibus, seeks bulk unleaded gasoline, No. 2 dyed diesel, and No. 2 clear ultra-low-sulfur diesel, with branded or unbranded products accepted. The contractor must provide pricing based on OPIS rack averages plus delivery, supply fuel on demand, and deliver to the City’s and Citibus’s fuel sites. Estimated annual quantities are provided for pricing and evaluation but are not guaranteed. Fuel must meet applicable specifications; the contractor is responsible for replacing noncompliant fuel and for spill-related obligations. The scope also includes installing and maintaining fuel tanks and dispensing equipment, providing spill-containment equipment, coordinating delivery schedules, supporting fuel-volume reconciliation, and providing emergency delivery coordination. Proposals must include the requested pricing, qualifications and experience, references, safety information, delivery and fuel-quality approach, contingency plan, and required forms and certifications. The contract is for one year with four possible one-year extensions.
