Description
The City of Wichita is soliciting bids for construction of the Exploration Place Parking Lot at North McLean Boulevard east of Seneca Street. The work includes mobilization, site clearing, grading, pavement removal and installation, concrete curbs and sidewalks, accessible ramps and detectable warnings, pavement markings, signing, traffic control, landscaping, erosion control, drainage improvements, lighting, and installation of a HAWK traffic signal with associated conduit, wiring, foundations, and electrical work. The contractor must maintain access to Exploration Place and existing pedestrian and multipurpose paths during construction, document existing conditions before work begins, and complete the project within 40 working days after the work order. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid or an annual bid bond is required before bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and labor and material payment bonds, while the required bid submission consists of completing the electronic bid table and required portal acknowledgments.
