Description
The City of Iowa City is soliciting bids for equipment upgrades and modernization of two existing elevators to meet current accessibility and code requirements. Associated work includes installation of a new fire-rated machine room door and limited modifications to lighting, electrical, communications, fire alarm, sprinkler, and shaft exhaust systems. The engineer's estimate is $470,000. Substantial completion is scheduled for July 30, 2027, at City Hall, and September 10, 2027, at the Police Department.
