Description
The University of Iowa is seeking proposals for three new Kubota RTV-X2C-PKLH-1 utility vehicles, or approved equivalents, with turn-signal and hazard-light kits, side mirrors, backup alarms, 2-inch receiver trailer hitches with 3/4-inch mounts, mounting hardware, wiring, installation, and standard safety and operational features. The solicitation also requests three SaltDogg SHPE0750 electric poly hopper spreaders, or approved equivalents, with in-cab controllers and accessories for complete operation, including a corrosion-resistant poly hopper, electric drive system, variable-speed auger and spinner controls, vibrator, tarp, top screen, and tie-down kit. Freight is also a separately priced line item. Equipment must be new and unused, installed and configured before delivery, compliant with applicable safety standards, and accompanied by manufacturer specifications, product literature, warranty information, and operator and maintenance manuals. Proposals must include detailed pricing and specifications, audited financial statements and annual reports for the previous two years, supplier qualifications and experience, at least three relevant customer references from the previous five years, contact information, equipment compliance, delivery and implementation, warranty and service support, parts availability, training, sustainability, customer service, payment terms, export-control classifications, and other required attribute responses. The resulting agreement is intended to have a one-year term with four additional one-year extensions by mutual written agreement. Responses must be submitted electronically through the University eBid system.
